How to start a business in Luxembourg as a woman – Is Entrepreneurial Woman Project for me?
Last week we met with a handful of determined women from Luxembourg who want to start a business. Different backgrounds, different ideas and stages. The question we needed to answer was: Is the Entrepreneurial Woman Project actually for you?
Some of them had been thinking about starting a business in Luxembourg for years.
Others are scaling an already registered activity.
Some came without a clear idea, just this persistent feeling that they want something of their own.
If you recognise yourself in any of the above, this article is for you.
What is the Entrepreneurial Woman Project?
Let’s get specific here. The Entrepreneurial Woman Project is not another networking event where you exchange contacts and go home without moving forward.

It is a structured entrepreneurship program in Luxembourg for women who need help with:
- turning a business idea into something actionable
- understanding the legal, financial and other technical basics
- positioning themselves on the market
- and most importantly – creating a community around them that will propel their action
During a 5-week course you’ll get:
- practical, hands-on workshops based on market reality
- access to experts from legal, marketing, finance (and not only!) fields
- a stage to tweak and perfect your idea
- a supportive environment for trial and error
Each edition is dedicated to a small, carefully selected group of around 15 women.
And this is intentional.
You won’t be one of one hundred participants passively listening, but a part of a group where your idea, your challenges, and your progress are actually visible.
It will make you feel uncomfortable at times, and you will be expected to get out of your comfort zone.
How many women did we help to start a business in Luxembourg?

Let’s be honest for a second. Registering a business in Luxembourg is not the hard part.
Luxembourg is known for tricky legal steps, administrative requirements and its own market specifics. And we do cover all that.
But surprisingly, it’s not paperwork that gets most women stuck.
We see this in every edition of the project. Some get stuck because they don’t know where to start, some overthink every decision, some lack structure and proper feedback, some just try to figure everything out alone.
So instead of taking action, they stay in research mode for weeks or even months… enter EWP.
Our participants leave with clarity, structure, and concrete next steps. Not just motivation.
Still, there are some questions that needed to be answered from our side:
What is the success rate?
EWP is not an acceleration programme. So, if by success you mean: “Do all participants launch a company immediately?”, the answer is no.
And that’s a good thing.
Because we’re not about pushing everyone into starting a business at all costs.
What actually happens is:
- participants gain clarity on whether their idea is actually viable
- many move forward with a concrete business concept
- some pivot completely
- some realise it’s not the right moment, but they know why
That’s the real success.
Not forced outcomes.
But informed decisions and gradual progress.
Will this help me if I already have a business?
We get that one a lot. And reality is, a handful of our past participants did have a pre-existing business.
So why sign up in that case?
- Because your offer is unclear or pricing doesn’t work
- Because your communication is inconsistent and you want to improve your marketing
- Because you need a supportive community to keep moving forward.
In this scenario, our program will help you step back and fix the foundation.
Who are the trainers and what will I work on?

Our EWP trainers come from different professional backgrounds.
We’ve got some legal experts, so you understand how to properly set up and protect your business in Luxembourg;
Our marketing professionals will help you best position and communicate what you offer;
The finance specialists are there to help you survive the hardships of beginning the entrepreneurship;
Finally, some of our experts are entrepreneurs themselves → all for you to hear what actually happens beyond the polished version of social media posts.
This matters because Luxembourg is a specific environment. And guessing your way through it is expensive – in time, energy, and money.
During the workshops, you’ll actively start building.
And it all leads to…
The Final Pitch – What is it?
During the last Saturday of workshops, you will talk about your business idea in front of your peers who will evaluate your 5-minute pitch.
Top presentations will receive €3,000, €2,000 and €1,000 in prize money and the opportunity to present at the official Award Ceremony seating LPCC Members.
What most people don’t ask (but probably should)
Most women who want to start their business in Luxembourg tackle doubts. So if the question that rings in your head is “What if I don’t feel ready?” then you need to know you won’t suddenly wake up ready one day. The point is to take small steps every day, and EWP is one of them.
It’s also completely okay if you don’t have a clear business idea yet. That’s the point. EWP is for hushing out the specifics and leaving you with clarity to move forward. What you need is the willingness to explore one seriously, not just keep it in your head.
EWP 2026 – Practical Information
Applications are now open, so if you’ve been circling this idea for a while, this is your chance to approach it with structure, support, and real feedback. Not someday. Not “when things calm down.” Now.
Each edition is limited to a small group of participants — which means the earlier you apply, the better your chances of securing a place that actually fits your needs.
Early Bird: €295 until May.
