The Luxembourg-Poland Chamber of Commerce was pleased to partner with the British Chamber of Commerce for Luxembourg and a wide network of international chambers on the conference “Safe and Secure Luxembourg: Attracting and Retaining International Talent”, held on 18 March 2026 at Cercle Cité.
The event brought together policymakers, business leaders and international stakeholders to address a topic of growing importance: how Luxembourg can maintain its position as a safe and attractive destination for global talent amid evolving security concerns and public debate.
Discussions focused on ongoing and upcoming initiatives led by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the City of Luxembourg, including measures to strengthen public safety, adapt legislative frameworks, and support employers in attracting and retaining international professionals. The exchange also highlighted the importance of transparency, implementation timelines and tangible outcomes in reinforcing trust among residents and the international business community.
The participation of Minister of Home Affairs Léon Gloden, Mayor Lydie Polfer and other key representatives reflected Luxembourg’s distinctive approach — one based on accessibility, dialogue and collaboration across public and private sectors.
This initiative once again demonstrated the strength of Luxembourg’s international ecosystem, where institutions, businesses and chambers work collectively to address shared challenges and safeguard the country’s long-term competitiveness.
